Mrs. Ida A. Keefer, 73, 1204 North Franklin Street, died at midnight Thursday in Lake View Hospital after a (can't read) illness with complications. She had been a resident of Danville for 29 years. Mrs. Keefer was born at Rob Roy, Ind., Oct 16, 1860. She was married to Robert D. Keefer in Rob Roy., Ind., Sept. 9, 1880. Her husband, two daughters and one son preceded her in death. She had been a member of the Methodist church since early childhood. Surviving are four children: Ira C. Keefer, Robert Leslie Keefer and Mrs. C. E. Hughes, all of Danville, and Mrs. Ruby King, Los Angeles, Calif. Ten grandchildren also survive. The body will be taken from the Pape Memorial funeral home to the residence Saturday morning. Funeral services will be held from the residence at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Rev. Charles R. Ross, pastor of the St. James M. E. church, will officiate. Burial will be in the family lot at Beulah cemetery near Veedersburg, Ind., with Pape in Charge.
